Infinity Nord

Placing art at the core of residential masterplanning

The new residential masterplan in the north part of Bucharest is inspired by the work of Romanian sculptor, painter, and photographer Constantin Brancusi. A pioneer of modernism and one of the most influential sculptors of the 20th century, Brancusi explored the concept of infinity throughout his career. The infinity symbol gives the development its striking form and name. The project links together a sequence of spaces, with four courtyards connected by nodal areas and a main central plaza with a boulevard on the north side as the central spine of the enlarged area under development.

The iconic infinity shape of the residential masterplan allows for a permeable mix of public and semi-private realms, encouraging community interaction while ensuring a sense of comfort and privacy for residents. Open piazzas, serene walkways, and lush gardens are enriched by curated art installations and water elements, blending the natural environment with built form in a fluid and sensory journey.

Infinity Nord is designed not just as a place to live, but as a model for inclusive, sustainable urban living. The development prioritizes social and economic diversity, ensuring access and value for a wide range of residents. A defining element of the project’s commitment to sustainability is its urban regeneration mission—transforming a previously industrial site affected by petroleum contamination into a vibrant, clean, and livable environment through a rigorous decontamination and land restoration process.

With its bold design language, sustainability commitment, and integration of art and community, Infinity Nord is set to redefine residential development in Bucharest—offering a holistic lifestyle where architecture, landscape, and culture converge in an endless loop of connection and inspiration.
